Ritmo Peligroso is a Mexican post-punk, rock band that was created in 1978 and known until 1985 as Dangerous Rhythm. They were the first Mexican Punk-Rock band to record an album in Mexico, with legendary producer Ricardo Ochoa at the helm. By the 80's the band began incorporating Afro-Caribbean sounds and in 1985 released their first album as Ritmo Peligroso heralding the movement known as Rock en Español.
