PALO! is a Grammy and Latin Grammy nominated band from Miami whose unique music blend of Cuban Salsa, Jazz, and Funk has been a staple of the city's vibrant scene since their founding in 2003 by producer and songwriter Steve Roitstein.

What began as a musical experiment following Steve's successful career as a hit producer and songwriter for artists such as Celia Cruz, Ricardo Montaner, Cheo Feliciano, Willy Chirino, and Tito Puente, among many others, turned into the successful "Afro-Cuban-Funk" band PALO!

Voted by the Miami New Times (Readers’ Choice) as Best Band in 2012 and Best Latin Band in 2014, PALO! is a featured act in clubs, live music venues, and festivals throughout the world.

With a powerful and danceable renewed sound in line with their own unique style, Steve's funky arrangement drew inspiration from two of his favorite Cuban bands: Orquesta Aragón and Los Van Van. The song features the powerful voices of Miriammar and Julio Cesar Rodriguez Delet. Dr. Aldo Salvent's soulful sax adds a melodic taste of Latin Jazz, while Dannah Santiago's danceable flute brings you back to the classic Charanga sound. The Cuban fire is brought by master percussionists Dayron Gallardo (congas) and Otto Santana (timbales). As always, Steve Roitstein lays down the piano, the arrangement, and the unmistakable Afro-Cuban Funky Salsa sound of PALO!.
